The House of Representatives has appointed Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams as the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports in the 10th National Assembly. The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has expressed strong support for this development, calling it a positive step for the future of sports in Nigeria.
In a statement shared by the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Nimrod praised Adams as a dedicated sportsman and administrator. He highlighted that Adams’ appointment is a sign of promising days ahead for Nigerian sports. Nimrod, who has worked closely with Adams, emphasized his passion and commitment to the development of sports in the country.
Nimrod, who also chairs KADSVA, congratulated Adams on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. He also commended the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, for making a wise decision that would benefit the sports sector, particularly in international competitions.
