House spokesman Rotimi Akin announced the session on Monday, saying members were informed through a memo from the Clerk of the House, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, on Sunday. The House had gone on recess the previous Tuesday, giving lawmakers time to engage with their communities and gather feedback on pressing issues.
Akin explained that the House often reconvenes during recess for urgent matters. He emphasized the importance of this session, as it will address critical national issues. Lawmakers have been asked to make arrangements to ensure they attend.
