Hon. Aliyu Ahman-Pategi, a former member of the House of Representatives for the Edu/Patigi federal constituency in Kwara State, has passed away at 59.
Ahman-Pategi, who would have celebrated his 60th birthday on December 31, served in the House for 12 years. He also ran for governor of Kwara State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 elections.
In addition, he founded Hon. Ahman-Pategi University in Kwara North. His death was confirmed by his political associate, Alh. Razaq Lawal, and the Ahman-Pategi family, who announced the sad news on social media. Hon. Ahman-Pategi will be remembered for his significant contributions to both politics and education.
