The House of Representatives Committee on Sports visited the National Institute for Sports (NIS) in Surulere, Lagos, and praised the Director-General, Professor Olawale Moronkola, for his impressive leadership.
The committee, led by Hon. Kabiru Amadu, commended the progress in infrastructure and staff development despite limited funding.
Other members of the committee, including Hon. Uchenna Okonkwo and Hon. Fayinka Moses, expressed satisfaction with the improvements they observed. Hon. Amadu assured the NIS of their support, saying, “With the right funding and government backing, you can achieve even greater results.”
