The Federal Ministry of Environment and its agencies have urged the House of Representatives to increase their 2025 budget allocations.
During a budget defense session, they highlighted achievements and funding challenges.
Agencies like the National Park Service, FRIN, and EHCON requested additional funds to address security, illegal mining, and delays in fund disbursement.
The committee assured EHCON that it would work with the Minister of Environment to resolve their budget concerns.
