Reps Committee Threatens Arrest of FCTA Executive Secretary

The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions has warned that it may issue an arrest warrant for FCTA Executive Secretary, Olusade Adesola, over his failure to appear before the committee regarding an alleged violation of the FCT building code.

Committee Chairman, Michael Etaba, stated that Adesola must appear on Thursday to explain his role in the alleged infraction concerning plot AO9399. The petition was filed by House Committee on Customs Chairman, Leke Abejide.

Legal counsel to Abejide, Samuel Ajayi, also petitioned the FCT Minister and Development Control Director, urging intervention. He called on authorities to take necessary action while urging the House to ensure due process is followed.
