Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) has issued a statement in response to a viral video circulating on social media, warning Nigerians about a fraudulent scheme attempting to swindle people out of their hard-earned money. The video, posted by unscrupulous individuals, claims to offer properties for sale at the prestigious Lake View Estate in Navy Town Asokoro. NHL clarified that it has not appointed any third party or agent to facilitate the sale of its land or properties, urging the public to disregard such false claims.
In the statement, signed by the Public Relations Officer Commander Abdulsalam Sani, NHL emphasized that the company is the sole owner of the lands in question and directly handles all transactions with its subscribers.
As a result, potential buyers are strongly advised not to engage with anyone claiming to be an agent on behalf of NHL.
The company expressed concern over the growing number of fraudulent activities surrounding its real estate offerings and assured the public that measures are being taken to identify and apprehend those responsible for these deceptive practices.
Furthermore, NHL reiterated that individuals who wish to subscribe to any of its lands or properties should visit the company’s official office located at Aso Clinic Road, Asokoro, adjacent to the Army War College Nigeria.
This direct approach ensures that all transactions are legitimate and secure, providing subscribers with the assurance of dealing directly with the company’s authorized representatives.
The company further assured the public that it is actively working to uncover the identities of those behind the fraudulent scheme and will take necessary legal action to protect its reputation and the interests of its customers. NHL’s warning serves as a reminder for Nigerians to exercise caution when dealing with property transactions, especially when unsolicited agents or third parties are involved.
